Cítricos is a signature dining restaurant located within Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa at Walt Disney World in Florida. Renowned for its upscale ambiance and Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, Cítricos offers a refined dining experience that blends elegance with imaginative theming. According to the Disney website 'Guests are expected to dress accordingly in attire that respects the restaurant's sophisticated and upscale aesthetic. Clothing should be clean, neat and in good condition. Please no swimwear.'
Atmosphere & Theming
Following a recent reimagining, Cítricos now features subtle design elements inspired by Mary Poppins Returns. I've got to say... it's very subtle. There are several things I probably wouldn't even have noticed if our server hadn't pointed them out to us! That said, I'm a HUGE Mary Poppins fan, so loved this. The dining room hints at a garden environment, incorporating floral motifs, butterflies, and soft pastel hues. This thematic choice complements the Victorian elegance of the Grand Floridian, creating a sophisticated yet enchanting environment.
So, what did I order....
Roulade of Chicken
Charred Creamed Corn, Orange-glazed Hushpuppies, Chardonnay-Mushroom Chicken Jus, Seasonal Vegetables
Profiterole Trio
Vanilla Custard, Dulce de Leche, Pumpkin Cream
The food was delicious. Full of flavour, and left you wanting more. Our server was amazing, making sure we had everything we needed, and keeping us entertained. We had a really lovely evening, and would definitely go back.
So, if I'm being picky, here's my negative ....
My only complaint would be the portion size. The meals were pretty small (and I'm not one for massive portions), I could definitely have managed a little more. In comparison to the amount of food you get, it is pretty expensive. That said, Cítricos is great for a special occasion treat.
